The idea of using extruded concrete to create landscape borders began in the early 1980’s when the first curb machine was invented in Australia. At the time, and for many years after, plain gray and unstamped curbing was used as a landscape border to help with erosion control, drainage, or smaller commercial uses. Over the years, different forms of decorative concrete were introduced to allow curbing to imitate the look of brick, slate, stone, and other hard-scapes.

Today, integral coloring, antique release agents, and a wide range of stamping methods combine to create an attractive, permanent, and cost-effective landscape border for residential and commercial landscapes.
